Better fights

I know this is probobaly already planned but wouldent it be cool if in future challenges there was an icon above enemy ant nests for you to send your ants to invade the nest and try to kill their queen so they arent a threat during the rest of the level?

Also it would be a bit more helpfull for example in 1.2 with the 2 devils coach hoarse beetles at the end if you could get your ants to go for a specific target so you can take the stronger ones out first. Like in 2.2 when you fight multiple beetles at once but theres 1 big and 2 small but bigger ones kill ants in 1 hit if you could get your ants to focus that beetle first.

Just some thoughts

There is a feature to allow nest entrance coming with freeplay (essentially you place the pheromone on the nest entrance).

The ability to focus a target is unlikely, as the devs are very set on swarm-like ant behavior (seen also in the somewhat finicky use of pheromones). Instead, you'll need to rely on good positioning and pheromone management.

As for 1.1, killing the larvae first is actually what you want to do. They do far more damage for their low health pools, making killing them a much more reliable way to lower the enemy's damage capabilities.

Ray is right about killing the smaller ones first... if the big one(s) is tanking your ants while the small ones are free to shred your army, you are going to lose a lot more ants... Of course with the swarm AI its usually just a happy accident that they kill the small ones first anyway.
