I think mole crickets would make an interesting addition to free play mode. I have 2 ideas of how they could work.

[*]They will walk to your nest and start borrowing down to your queen. They will steal pillage the tile and kill workers, then retreat to the surface. If you don't fix these holes bugs and other ants will have a way into your nest, the same thing will happen to the enemy colony's it's worth strategizing an attack after a mole cricket attack.
[*]The mole crickets will dig up roots around the map including aphid roots. Making the aphids leave and leaving the plant to heal. You should protect the plants and doing so could relieve further harm.
