Formicarium Transfer
Instead of a transfer of just the queen, I would like to see a full nest evacuation. This would serve as an additional challenge for the player. As your nest emptys out, the male scientist would introduce enemies to try and kill your queen. The queen would act on her own, as you control the army to protect her.
When the queen enters the new nest, the scientist could drop an extreme amount of enemies to rip apart your army. Another scenario could be that the female scientist enters the lab a deals with the ants herself.
Boss Battles
A change of music for the upcoming boss battles would be cool. Instead of the regular background music, the boss music would reflect what the boss is like.
New Freeplay Map
For the second Leafcutter map, Army ants would probably be the pick. This is my idea: Every day the Army ants choose a new route, with two colonies on either side of it. The four colonies then would try and push the Army ants towards each other to gain territory, like tug-of-war. The constant changing of sides ensures that no two colonies can dominate the other two. During the night, the Army ants stop.
