Invisible Platform Above Nest Entrance Which Allows Pheromone Placement

You can tell after a successful placement, as all ants in that control group will suddenly freeze since their pathing fails. The pheromone marker, when moving the camera around, is visually higher up than if it were placed in a location the ants could navigate to.

The first two images do the best job of showing how the pheromone location is displaced from different angles, indicating that it is indeed above the ground.

If you can't find it ingame from the images, just spam pheromones in a vertical line while centered on the nest entrance, and then move around to see if any of them move off the line. That should indicate where the platform is.

Very well spotted! This is what is left of an icon that used to let you enter enemy nests. We have fixed this and the fix will be in the next patch!
