Mid-week Progress Post: Music Stress Test ft. Eternal Hatching Glitch

Oh no! The eternal hatching glitch has happened again! Except this time it's a deliberate stress test for the music.

Here we're playing a music loop. EotU has a dynamic music system which calls for the possibility of the track changing every 4.5 seconds, depending on the state of the game (it might get more upbeat, more dramatic or more panicked depending on how things are going for the player).

You'll notice as more eternally hatching eggs are added, the frame rate drops significantly.

Our sound guy Liam was having trouble synchronizing the 4.5 second track changes when frame rate changes dramatically, so he used the hatching glitch to test out his solution - and it seems to have worked! Hopefully you can't pinpoint where exactly the 4.5 second loop starts and ends.

Somehow like this towards the end is how poisonous gas (from pest control) should look.
