Mole Cricket

Nothing major but When you kill a mole cricket you get such a small amount of food. Those things are huge they should be worth as much as the full grown devil's coach horses at least. I know it's a challenge mode and it's supposed to be harder. I was just thinking from a realistic point of view.

That's deliberate - if you got more food, after a certain tipping point the challenge mode would actually be easier than non-challenge mode because of the extra food. We had to be really careful balancing that.

I just did 1.1 on insane with challenge mode. I can confirm, food is tricky..
I actually ended up tearing down brood tiles to get enough food to spawn a few warriors to finish off the last coach beetle.

Why don't the developers just make the mole crickets like ladybugs? They drop to a certain amount of health, and then burrow away. It makes it more realistic than getting little food after killing a huge insect compared to your ants.
