My save files for the story mode sometimes gets deleted by the game without me deleting them

so this game has deleted a few of my files but they came back when I switched to the beta version but now the beta version has deleted a file of my called fire ants.
now I had another game file called fire ants but i deleted that save a while back but this time the game deleted this new file. now i know it sounds confusing but what im trying to say is that the game sometimes deletes one or all of my story mode saves so im kinda at a lost here cause if i lose my other files then I cant get them back so can someone help me.

Maybe you should try to detect why it is happening? Some games that I played also did that.

sadly i don't really have a lead to why its happening it just happens randomly sometimes I think its my computer cause the game lags but I cant be because it happens when I get on the game so I know it isn't my computer.

Maybe a line of code in saving got corrupted?
