Well the acid they squirt has a big long range it's NOT a bug.
I haven't studied this in REAL LIFE, but that could be one of it's attack moves which would be strange to remove.
Yah, this is a known bug. Should be getting fixed at some point.
We will be putting in a range on thorns, so basically if they are close to the target when the damage is dealt they will get damaged but further away they will not
