A Camponotus queen's first workers have appeared in the dunes that is just outside of a forest. The colony may not survive for long. These ants usually make their nests in rotting logs, where there is plenty of food, but the dunes offer less food. Due to being near the forest, many predators on the beach are not present. Instead, there is a variety of prey and one dominating predator, the Devil's Coach Horse Beetle.
Species: Black Ant or Formica Ereptor (Black Ants only)
Difficulty: Ramp With Spikes and any start difficulty.
Critters: Wood
Landmarks: No fish
Nocturnal/Diurnal: On
Additional Conditions: Upgrade all soldiers a level above all of your workers. Workers maximum level is two because of this.
Challenge: There is not enough rain all of the plants have died.
