What a perfect time of the year to unveil this lovely creature!

These Formica fusca ants have a problem. Lurking in the dark of their nest site is Segestria florentina, a funnel web spider. They have tripwires radiating from their funnel-shaped webs and can feel the slightest vibration. Any ant that gets too close will be snatched away in the blink of an eye.

Make it so spiders are able to tie you down with their web. Some spiders like black widows can tie an enemy up in the middle of a combat situation.

Go to 0:23 to see it.

If you watch the video closely you'll see that their webs have a really nasty slow effect :)

AHHHHHHHH
Y NO ARACHNOPHOBIA WARNING?
i'M NOT ARACHNOPHOBIC AND THAT SCARED ME.
That was a really cool thing, though. The funnel web spiders will only be found underground?
I imagine with these thing's high attack, you just have to swarm them with ants. Ranged ants would help greatly as you don't need to go as far over the web.
