I think there should be a way to just play in the wild not in formicarium I understand the quest things but I mean like just normally play in the wild

I think freeplay somewhat accomplishes this. Have you seen gameplay of it yet?

This is pretty much what Freeplay is. There's something of an ecosystem going on with it.
