Spoiler... We can use army ants as ereptor unit in a currently developed side mission. As a full species, not their priority right now, their nomadic life style is hard to implement when the game rely on nest building as basic. But nothing is 100% certain.

Which side mission? I haven't seen one with them yet. Unless you are of course talking about the Blue Colony mission that's being developed.

WAY late, but they do have a chance of being added to the Formicarium then, right? Maybe not as a playable 'empire', but as a unit for the Ereptors?
