Buff to Stun Majors

They are mostly unused due to their inability to combat L enemies. A suggestion is for their ability to, in addition to stun, extend cooldowns. If this applied for even a second, it would be extremely useful against single strong foes, as it would add onto the already lengthy cooldowns on their very strong abilities.

This makes sense, given changes to taunt majors have made them ideal for multiple foes. After stun majors had their lvl 1 AoE removed, they could use something to give them utility again. Abilities that help against single targets would strengthen their niche.

It would also act as a good indirect nerf to the L mantis, M and L bush crickets, and rove beetle A, all of which have abilities that make them extremely dangerous otherwise. Given the diminished returns from combat combined with general food scarcity in the 3.X missions, more tools to combat strong enemies would make this more manageable.

From my post:
[Feedback] Leafcutter missions feedback

"3. Army ants have trouble against large opponents. A large mantis or cricket can ruin the day of a group of army ants out to forage. If I remember correctly, in nature army ants overwhelm their opponents. Majors pin down the enemy by biting and not letting go, while smaller army ant castes sting and cut it.

Just an idea: Instead of a "swarm" attack bonus the army ant majors could get accumulative stun? When enough majors are attacking the same target it gets stunned.
(Warning: Complicated idea! Skip if you are allergic to math or logic! Some psuedo code to summarise the idea behind each step.)

A creature would have their own amount of stun, their own stun threshold, their own stun resistance, and their own stun recovery.
When a creature is attacked by an army ant major it receives an amount of stun with every hit taken. (Stun taken = stunAttack - stunResist. stun taken can't be below 0.)
This stun is added to their stun amount. (myStun += stunTaken)
If the creature's stun amount is on or past its stun threshold, it is stunned. (if myStun >= stunThreshold, set stunned to true. else set stunned to false)

This allows multiple ants to stun-lock a target as a group, but it is probably a bit too complicated for EotU since it (if I remember correctly) is trying to keep things simple. "

The same logic could make leafcutter stun majors more usefull against large opponents. A lone major wouldn't stun a large mantis, but a group of majors would. Instead of each major applying individual stun effects they add their stun to the current stun effect.

It's not that they can't fight L enemies, they can still put a dent onto Uber creatures and stun lock them forever. It's the fact that most L creatures are immune to stun is the problem. The skill cool down extension is a great idea. I'd prefer a boosted damage on stun-immune enemies, the dev only need to put one more multiplier on their formula and the stun leafcutter can now be generally offensive (contrast to the taunt leafcutter, which is generally defensive).

If I remember correctly it was announced that uber creatures that are not immune to stun would be immune to it next update?
