Leafcutter Ants and Fish

I have 2 suggestions:

1. Leafcutters, as most of us know, grow fungus gardens. To avoid making a separate fungus garden tile just for one game mechanic, what if the leafcutter tile itself also served as a fungus garden? Ants would harvest leaves and place them on the tile, which after a while will turn into some food.

2. The fish have so far played almost no effect on the game. They're flooded after only one day on 2.2, and on the first day you don't have the strength to go down and harvest from them. Hopefully, there will be a fish level where the fish adds to the game a little more.

Why does the fish give you insect bits?

Instead of oversimplifying I'd rather like to see a bit more economical complexitiy with the leafcutters.
Currently the game's economical aspect is very underdeloped.

Something like this.

I'm pretty sure we will see more levels where fish play a bigger role (like in a resource tug of war). It's just too good of an asset to not use it.
