I know this is not the right place to ask this but there's no FAQ section so here. I've been watching the development streams recently and I wonder how each levels going to vary.

In lots of ways.

Some will take place at night, some in the daytime. Some will have environmental hazards you have to be aware of. In some, you'll want to kill an enemy queen. In others, you'll need to keep an eye on your ants for signs of cordyceps infection.

In some you won't play as your main colony - you'll do a sort of side mission where you play as, for example, Formica rufa. In others you might need to escort your queen to a new nesting site. You might need to take down a crab in order to ensure you have enough food to defeat a much stronger nearby colony. You might encounter lightning-fast wolf spiders or slow but tough slugs. Termite colonies that far outnumber you might be a hazard in some levels.

Those are just a few examples of things we have planned to get in the game eventually. Not all of this will be in the early access launch (obviously) but will find its way into the game for the final release.

I'm assuming that we'll have a fully functioning enemy colony which respawns its soldiers and workers when killed?

In most levels that include enemy ants, yes - they'll function very similarly to you, using pheromone markers and all.

What if it's just a cutscene with her flying around and the narrator giving off exposition of how the island and the colony works, and the only interaction are QTE events so you don't crash into stuff.
