Can a mapmaker be implemented so people can make custom maps? I think that would be really cool, and would decrease boredom as we wait for more Early Access levels to be added.

A long time away, but it's on the list of things to add in the far future if it all goes well. It's a really difficult thing to get right - the internal version is in no way suitable for public consumption, being based in the UE4 editor and having all sorts of quirks and workarounds only John knows about. It'd be several months of solid development just for this feature.
