Here's a pre-decoration shot of the overground section of one of the extra missions John is working on. Pre-decoration means it's yet to have its art pass done to it, to add visual details like texture variation, plants and stones.
In this level, you'll have an allied AI colony which is intrepidly making its place in the world. Unfortunately for them, they don't have the widsom to make this work, so you'll need to look after them to make sure they don't get into too much trouble!
The extra missions will be a regular feature starting with the next large release, which is the freeplay overhaul. We don't have an ETA on this whilst we're working on our boring code re-writes, but as always as soon as we're sure we'll let everyone know the date.
