There a way to Keeping workers out of the fight?

Do the nest worker ants have an option that keeps them from engaging? I feel like once the threat gets close to queen they stop egg moment and de idea to attack. Any knowlage?

Not at the moment, but it's a feature that is often requested so we'll look into it. You could of course move them to a control group but that does need quite a lot of micro to work.

They'll do everything in the nest group, including fight.

Whenever my nest is attacked, I move nursery workers to group 5 and set them to avoid combat. It depends if I leave them on food duty or not, but I don't want to see my food being used up when my new soldiers need it
