The winner of the poll we all know is: A few semi-open world levels (like say Bioshock)! The people now want semi-open world levels!



Freeplay Mode

Okay it turns out we have freeplay mode but lets try to apply it to freeplay. Freeplay mode could have a upgrade system like the formicarium! You could have to find royal jelly and upgrade your ants. You need to have some abilities to access certain places before you got there. Maybe have challenges to get rewards. Some secrets for little Jimmy explorer.

Maybe, although it sounds a lot like Freeplay.

To be fair, 2.1 is kind of open-worldy, although the nightly waves get very difficult to handle.
