Workers Useless

It's sad to constat when you play in freeplay mode or other, you need to have more soldiers than workers at the begin if you want to survive. The workers are too weak for fight against all dangers. But in the wild, they have 1 soldiers for 15-20 workers.

It's possible to make this more realistic ? ^^

Maybe the reasen of have more soldiers than workers in the game is because the dangers you found outside the nest recuaer more figth, for that u need more soldiers. And for the attack waves if u have only 1 soldier for 10 workers the nest will be easly destroed.
And probaly the main reason is because to have 10/20 workers for 1 soldier the damage does not exist and u probably u will need a lot of worker for that and LLLAAAAAAAGG.
I tink the workers will be better if they gain damage at level 2 because in the state of the game workers only gain damage at level 3.

If this game was realistic than there would not be any soldiers for Formica fusca or Formica rufa. We would have every worker the same size, probably with the stats of a current soldier. They would be able to fight, dig, care for brood, and everything else. I agree though, you do have to start off with soldiers in most levels and free play.

The true value of workers becomes more apparent when playing the game at Hard or Insane difficulty, making them much more efficient resource collectors than the soldiers.

Actually both Formica fusca and Formica rufa are slightly polymorphic with small workers and bigger larger-headed workers. The largest F. rufa workers are about twice as long as the smallest ones.

According to new studies there isn't really a dedicated soldier class in any ant species - Pheidole majors (and even the super majors of the trimporphic Pheidole species) can care for brood just fine and Atta soldiers help dragging large obstacles out of pathways and carry exceptionally big food pieces into the nest.

From a gameplay perspective they kinda make sense (especially in the first beach level), Formica rufa workers are even way better than soldiers (the shooters are ridiculously powerful and will murder everything when screened by a blob of cheap workers).
