Cheating Spider

im playing the new freeplay mode ive set the difficulty to hardest on ramps and spikes and just after i opened my nest to the out world ive had this cheating spider come in a wreck my ants the reason why i say cheating spider is because i almost killed it 3 or 4 times and when its about to die it automatically regens to full health

Spiders have an ability called "devour" where they consume an enemy and get a health regen from it. It's always been there but to be confronted by it so early is a bit unfortunate!

Part of the luck of the draw of Freeplay. John's looking to take some steps to make things a little fairer earlier on, but probably not on the hardest difficulty.

Ahh ok fair enough I didn't know that.

The only reason I was going with the hardest difficulty is because once you have over 50 or so ants it's to easy in free play.

Within say 2 hours I was up to 700 odd ants and basically steam rolled everything but that was with a difficulty of around 75% and the level of keeping up with your ant colony
