Formicarium to missions question

I've been working on some videos and I had a question. I think some of the upgrades from the formicarium carry into the missions but I wanted to ask if all of them do?
I've noticed with the mortar or rapid fire types come through, but does the rest of the upgrades come through as well, or is it just the type of wood ant you've picked?

No formicarium upgrades carry into missions (so no corrosive, weakening, etc.). It only applies for the formicarium and any freeplay games using that colony.

Which upgrades did you think were carrying, by chance?

the worker ones, in one I have them as efficient non combat ants, the other they are aggressive.

Yah, those don't carry over. You can experiment if you don't believe me, but if you play 1.1 with workers only, neither formicarium will make the level easier (not even totally sure if it's beatable in easy w/ only workers, but if upgrades did carry it would be).
