I think that they would be an awesome Idea, but they also need to have a balance, you should implement citrus fruits and have the ants choose where to use them as food, or use them as healing against the parasites. The parasites should do some damage over time, if not take care of, then they could do more and more damage. Would be fun to play or survive against them
