Point taken. Roar might not be the best way to put it, but it is useful for comparison.great idea but I'm having hard time figuring how a bug could make a roar sound ?
The reason loud idle chirping might be the most usefull is because it can stay loud as long as the uber desires to invade the nest, this allows the player to use sound to figure out which uber is about to invade. Other effects would not allow the player to differentiate between ubers about to attack and idle ubers based on the effect given.I'm thinking maybe the scientist/journalist (the one that was in the early game) could be the one talking about it like when he says that a uber has spawned, or maybe a visual distortion like a shockwave moving on the screen ?
despite that a roar could still be something as the game isn't supposed to be 100% accurate
No had not, the reason it came to mind was your mentioning of other options. I imagined what each might look like and saw that as a probable difference.Yeah great idea had you thought about that before ?
