Beta Testing

I assume that the people who backed on itch get to beta-test as well? (Actually we paid more than the people on kickstarter did to beta test the game, which I think is fine as long as we get beta testing)

Also, will the beta have the same things (levels, bugs, ants, mechanics, etc.) as early access, just without all the bug fixes that early access will have?

And lastly you said that beta-testing will be out a month before early access correct?

The beta testing was a specific reward tier for the Kickstarter campaign, so no - itch.io backers will not be participating in beta testing. If your current key doesn't allow you to download the demo via Steam, you don't have a beta key.

The beta will last for 3-4 weeks and will be the intended early access release (so by the time we get to the EA release time we'll hopefully have cleared up any bugs that arise and have things working for wider release).
