diffrent attack types

when you're underground. you will rarely have the element of suprise. once you destroy some territory of an enemy. their whole base opens up, and they begin to pursue the queen. what if it wasnt like this, what if you were able to run away, without the enemys pursueing the queen. maybe even allowing you to attack back, with more reinforcements, this may even allow for ambush attacks.

maybe some more docile/timid enemys, will pursue the ants until they leave their nest, returning back to their average life. such as the larvae of the devils coach horse. meanwhile the more aggressive adult coach horse would instantly defend its young and maybe later begin pursueing the colonys queen. there are many approaches to this, and i doubt i could speak of them all.

outside however is a diffrent story, unlike the nest. it is open.
like oxidus27 &rayalot72 have suggested
what if there were animals that were passive, and only attacked when you attacked them? or if they gave out warnings before they attacked. (this same concept could work underground)

There are devil's coach horse larvae in 1.2 that don't behave aggressively, although half of them do try to attack in the top left.
