Leptotyphlops snakes I think would be a really cool idea. Small, blind ant eating snakes would be a very unique enemy.

Oooh, those would be cool as well. Their ability to sneak into the nest seems like something you could only defeat with a specific strategy, making them an unconventional enemy for your colony to face.

I imagine these snakes would be a horrendous thing to animate but pretty cool indeed.

Well, they're also going to have to animate crawly things with many legs. Still though, the animation will be difficult.
