The woodlouse is a common isopod crustacean that feeds on decaying plant matter. They're covered in thick, layered armor, so if our ants are hoping for a meal from one of these they're going to need to be persistent!

When the woodlose bunkers down, it becomes highly resistant to physical attacks. We may be in the for long haul taking this one down, ladies.

Oh my gosh, this is so cute. ;D
Can it roll up to a ball, too?

The most ants btw cannot take down woodlice. Also often woodlice live in a symbiotic relationship with the ants, eating their garbage (which prevents mold and mites from growing).

I don't think this one is a "pill bug" type that can roll up. Although I'd love to see one like that, maybe one day I can convince Matt to animate it that way...
